Climbing Shoe Repairs & Resoling Specialists
At Re-Up Resoles Ltd, we specialise in climbing shoe resoling and replica sole restorations designed to restore your shoes to near-new performance.
Unlike standard angled replacements, replica resoles maintain the shoe’s original flexibility and sensitivity, ensuring consistent grip and precision on the wall.
Replica Sole replacements
We replace climbing shoe soles like-for-like and recommend using the original rubber compound to maintain optimal grip, sensitivity, and overall performance.

Free Peeling Rubber Correction
As part of our full climbing shoe resole service, we repair any peeling rubber at no extra cost, ensuring your shoes are secure, durable, and ready to perform.
Rubber Patches
We know well-used climbing shoes can wear out in more areas than just the sole. That’s why we offer rubber patch repairs to fix splits and help extend the life of your shoes.

Types of rubber we offer:

Vibram XS EDGE
One of the best edging rubbers in the game, the XS Edge is stiffer than its counterparts, the rubber is used on some of the most popular bouldering and all-around climbing shoes
Vibram XS GRIP 1
A Semi-stiff by nature performance rubber that is designed to help you climb at your best on any rock surface.
Vibram XS GRIP 2
The Vibram XS Grip 2 provides superior grip and durability. Although designed to excel on overhang climbing, it’s softer than the XS Grip but still retains a great balance between edging and smearing capabilities
Vibram XS FLASH
Primarily for the use on indoor rentals the grey XS Flash has Great edging and durability properties whilst also being non-marking.
Vibram XS ECO
A sensitive 3.5mm sole made from 20% recycled high performance rubber that is designed for use on soft Performance shoes.
When To Resole?
The ideal time for a climbing shoe resole is when you first notice the edge line beginning to distort — a clear sign the sole rubber is wearing thin. Resoling at this stage allows for a standard repair, helping preserve the structure, sensitivity, and performance of your shoes.
Climbing beyond this point increases the risk of damaging the rand, which often requires a more complex and costly climbing shoe repair.
At Re-Up Resoles, we know it’s not always easy to send your shoes in at the perfect time, so we’re equipped to restore even heavily worn pairs. To save money and extend the lifespan of your shoes, we always recommend resoling early — and resoling right.
